Mid Autumn Cultural Festivity (26&27/09/2009)

The Harbour Place Sales Office was really dressed up to welcome in the Tanglung Festival. This Mid Autumn Cultural Festivity is part of PJD's tradition to celebrate all cultures. The decorative lanterns brought the place to life as the crowd eagerly waited to see what was in store for them this time.

On both days, the venue was rather crowded as visitors and guest came to experience the fun and excitement of this Tang Lung festival. There were certainly plenty of things to see and do. Overall, everyone that came had a great time.

The Sales Office also received its share of the crowd. Naturally, people are still curious and want to find out more about Ocean View Residences, the latest installment to Harbour Place.

There were games like the Lantern-making competition to keep the guest occupied - children and adults alike. All these friendly competitions projected a real sense of festivity and fun to the surrounding environment.

Every little detail has been taken into account to ensure that all the guests will have a good time and that includes the food. A fine variety of local and traditional food were made available to cater to the those who have built up an appetite.

And there is, of course, the mooncakes. Quite a variety was offered for the guests to taste and experience.

This time round, PJD even organised a small Chinese customs and cultural exhibition.

The exhibition that attracted the most attention was the Lantern exhibits. The colours and light from the lanterns really lit up the whole exhibition like beacons.

There was memorable performances that kept the guests entertained and thrilled throughout the festivity like the 24 Seasons Drum Performance and other traditional performances.

The Lion Dance Troop put on a dazzling display and did their best to impress the crowd with their skills and energy.

The presence and performance of renowned local performer Loong Piew Piew was a big hit among the crowd.

She even helped out the prize giving ceremony to the winners of the friendly competitions held earlier on in the day.
