GEORGE TOWN: The RM4.5bil second Penang bridge is tentatively scheduled to be opened on March 1. Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the official opening would be a night event. He spoke at a press conference after the rebranding of Vistana Hotel Penang launch on Friday. Also present was YTL Corp Bhd deputy managing director Datuk Yeoh Seok Kian. "For 2013, the number of tourist arrivals in Penang is expected to exceed 6.2 million, compared to 6.09 million in 2012. "Hotel occupancy increased by 64% in 2012 and by 67% in 2013," Lim said.
